These examples were created to demonstrate my abilities in audio engineering (editing, mixing, re-recording, etc.) I chose the content below based on my interest in a range of themes and varying audio aesthetics. I enjoy the challenge and precision of a minimalist audio approach just as much as an all-out sonic frenzy.

Sound design is my most deeply cherished work. All aspects of crafting the perfect sound, from conception to implementation, are adventures to me. When the situation allows, I like to create new approaches to an event or action that drive the listener's curiousity. The audio-only samples below were created with specific scenarios in mind. The goal is to situate the listener in a soundscape and conjure an emotional response. I utilized many techniques ranging from field recording and Foley work to pure digital synthesis.

Below are some examples of audio projects that I've completed that fall outside of the usual sound design / post-production arena. They include a public domain audiobook, the professional sound libraries I create for my company Eiravaein Works, an audio branding reel, and my Master's thesis in auditory cognition.

While sound design is my professional passion, music is a passionate hobby. I find it cathartic, dabbling in different musical structures, textures, and genre mashups. As an recording engineer, a producer, or a performer, it's simply another facet of sound that I enjoy exploring.
